THE LOCAL GUIDE / PITT MEADOWS

Good coffee.
A little room to roam.

From my usual coffee stops to golf, waterfront walks and community events, these are the places I recommend in Pitt Meadows.

A FEW PERSONAL FAVOURITES

Start with something you’ll enjoy.

WHAT ARE YOU IN THE MOOD FOR?

Food & drinks

Pizza, fried chicken, sushi or a bowl of pho. These are my local picks.

Pizza · A personal favourite

Artista Pizzeria

19141 Ford Road

In my opinion, the best pizza around, and I don’t just mean in Pitt Meadows. This one belongs on my list without question.

Sushi · Japanese food

Sushi House

19178 Lougheed Highway

One of my recommendations for sushi in Pitt Meadows. A very good local option to keep on your list.

Sushi · Japanese food

Kisoji Japanese Kitchen

1–19040 Lougheed Highway

Another very good local sushi spot that deserves a mention. I’d happily include both Kisoji and Sushi House among my Pitt Meadows picks.

Pho · Vietnamese food

DT Pho & Coffee

101–19141 Ford Road

A great choice when you’re craving a bowl of pho. Another local food spot I recommend.

A COFFEE, A TREAT, A LITTLE BREAK

Coffee shops & sweet stops

Somewhere to work, a quick stop on the go, or a coffee before a waterfront walk.

Coffee · One of my usual stops

C Market Coffee

301A–19265 Airport Way

One of my usual places to go for coffee in Pitt Meadows. An easy addition to my local favourites.

Airport · Coffee, work & lunch

Rustic Roast Café & Bar

1007–18799 Airport Way

A cool spot at the Pitt Meadows airport for a coffee and getting some work done. The lunch is great too, so it’s a good option when you want to settle in for a while.

Osprey Village · Coffee & a walk

Stomping Grounds Café & Bistro

10931 Barnston View Road

A good stop for a coffee before heading out for a walk along the Fraser River dyke. A simple way to enjoy this part of Pitt Meadows.

On the go · Coffee & treats

The Coffee Pitt

12528 Harris Road

A great option when I’m on the go. Good for a coffee and a treat, with plenty of choices.

Meadowtown · Gelato

Nani’s Gelato

310–19800 Lougheed Highway

One of my usual dessert stops since they opened. If you’re in the mood for gelato, Nani’s is a spot I’d recommend.

MAKE A LITTLE TIME TO GET OUTSIDE

Golf, parks & outdoor adventures

A round of golf, a game with friends, a short walk or a bigger outing.

Golf · A little movie history

Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club

16651 Rannie Road

A golf spot worth including. There’s also a fun local connection for movie fans: scenes from the original Happy Gilmore were filmed here.

Golf

Meadow Gardens Golf Club

19675 Meadow Gardens Way

Another great golf course in Pitt Meadows. If you’re looking to get out for a round, this is one I’d include.

Baseball · Tennis · Pickleball · Basketball

Pitt Meadows Athletic Park

11431 Bonson Road

A great spot for local sports, with baseball fields, tennis and pickleball courts, and basketball facilities. The neighbouring Pitt Meadows Arena adds hockey rinks to the mix. Check schedules and bookings before heading over.

Disc golf · A local park

Bonson Park

11546 Bonson Road

A great local park that now includes disc golf. A good option when you want to get outside and do something a little different.

Fraser River · Waterfront walks

Shoreline Park & Osprey Village

Bonson Road / Osprey Village waterfront

A good spot for a walk along the waterfront and through Osprey Village. Pair it with a coffee from Stomping Grounds and take your time by the Fraser.

Walks · Longer adventures

Pitt Meadows Dyke Trails

Start around Osprey Village and the waterfront

There’s much more to explore beyond a short walk in Osprey. The broader dyke and trail network opens up longer outings around Pitt Meadows and towards Pitt Lake. Plan the full route first: connections, road sections and closures mean it isn’t one simple, uninterrupted loop.

Lake views · A change of scenery

Pitt Lake

Grant Narrows · North end of Rannie Road

Another nice spot to get outside locally. The Grant Narrows area at the south end of Pitt Lake is a starting point for enjoying the lake and surrounding scenery.

Kayaking & canoeing · Plan ahead

Widgeon Creek

Water access from Grant Narrows

A local option I’d mention if you’re looking for somewhere to kayak. Access involves paddling from Grant Narrows across the Pitt River into Widgeon Slough. It is not a trail you can simply walk onto beside the creek. Check weather, wind, tides and current access; choose a trip suited to your experience and wear a properly fitted life jacket.

Baseball · Pool · Spray park · Skatepark

Harris Road Park

Harris Road at Lougheed Highway

Another good local park with baseball diamonds, an outdoor pool, a spray park and a skatepark. Plenty of options depending on what you’re looking for. The pool and spray park operate seasonally, so check current schedules.

Plan before you go: check City park and facility details, pool and spray park schedules, and BC Parks information for Widgeon Creek. Trail descriptions here are ideas for an outing, not navigation instructions.

COME OUT AND SUPPORT LOCAL

Events that bring people together

A few events I enjoy. Follow the organiser links for current dates, locations and activities.

Pitt Meadows Day

Pitt Meadows Athletic Park · 11431 Bonson Road

A local event I always enjoy, with lots of food trucks, great entertainment and activities for all ages. Local businesses set up around the field, so there’s plenty to browse between grabbing a bite and enjoying the festivities.

Airport Day

Pitt Meadows Regional Airport · Airport Way

A chance to see airplanes up close, enjoy the activities and check out some great food trucks. Another fun reason to get out and spend time in the community.
